Quest says sales jump 8,8% in 1H2017

Quest Holdings on Friday said consolidated sales totaled 192.056 million euros in the first half of 2017, from 176.551 million in the same period last year, for an increase of 8.8 pct.


In an announcement, Quest Holdings said EBITDA grew 17.5 pct to 15.732 million euros in the January-June period, pre-tax earnings totaled 8.109 million euros, after tax earnings were 4.703 million and after tax and minorities earnings totaled 4.661 million euros.

The company said its last year's first half results included 1.4 million euros from the sale of an affiliated company and 1.6 million euros from pre-tax earnings resulting from the termination of operations of two energy subsidiaries sold in 2016.

Capex totaled 7.826 million euros in the first half, down from 9.127 million last year.

Parent company revenues totaled 2.823 million euros in the first half, down from 3.297 million in 2016, EBITDA rose to 2.514 million (2.061), pre-tax earnings rose to 2.434 million (2.140) and after tax earnings grew to 2.351 million euros (1.802).
