Greece's economy is seen expanding by 2 percent this year before picking up to 2.4 percent in 2019, according to the government's mid term plan submitted to parliament on Friday.


In 2020, gross domestic product is seen growing by 2.3 percent, 2.1 percent in 2021 and 1.8 percent in 2022.

The 2019-2022 mid term plan was submitted to parliament along with a multi bill outlining prior action the government must approve ahead of the June 21 eurogroup where decisions on Greece's debt are expected.

Unemployment is seen dropping to 18.3 percent this year before edging lower to 16.7 percent in 2019 and 15.2 percent in 2020, according to the plan.

On the fiscal front, the primary budget surplus targets rise sharply in coming years. The target for 2018 has been set out 3.56 percent of annual economic, 3.96 percent for 2019, with the figure reaching 5.19 percent in 2022.
