Arabatzis Hellenic Dough announced the completion of a 10-million-euros investment to build a third production unit in Thessaloniki.

 

Hellenic Dough now has three production units located in the Thessaloniki Industrial Zone, while it plans to invest 5.0 million euros in 2018 in machinery equipment and upgrading building facilities.

The company expects this year's turnover to reach 72 million euros, from 67.2 million in 2016, EBITDA to rise to 11.5 million euros from 9.6 million and pre-tax earnings to rise to 9.9 million euros in 2017 from 8.2 million in 2016. Hellenic Dough has zero bank debt.

The company has a catalogue of 55 product codes and exports in 49 countries (among them USA, Germany Sweden, Turkey and UK). Exports account for 30 pct of its turnover, with a significant part of exports covered by Lidl. Hellenic Dough and Lidl established a cooperation in 2004.

Hellenic Dough was founded in 1974 by Mihalis Arabatzis.
