HCMC grants authorization to a new REIC in the Greece

HCMC’s official press release:

“The Board of Directors of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission at its 968 th /31.10.2022 meeting decided to grant authorization to the company to be established “REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT COMPANY OF CHANIA S.A.” with the distinctive title “REIC of CHANIA”, to operate as a Real Estate Investment Company, in accordance with the provisions of Greek law 2778/1999, as well as an internally managed alternative investment fund (AIF), in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 (b) of Article 5 and paragraph 3 of Article 6 of Greek law 4209/2013.”
