TITAN Group is acquiring a strategic minority stake in Command Alkon, one of the leading technology platforms serving the construction materials industry, strengthening its strategy to accelerate digital transformation and deploy artificial intelligence across its international operations.

The investment marks the beginning of a long-term partnership between the two companies and forms part of TITAN’s “TITAN Forward 2029” strategic plan. The objective is to enhance the Group’s ready-mixed concrete and aggregates operations through the adoption of advanced digital applications and the integration of operational data.

Command Alkon develops software for managing production, logistics and commercial processes for ready-mixed concrete, aggregates and asphalt businesses, serving thousands of facilities worldwide. Its cloud-based platform integrates workflows, improves data accessibility and facilitates the faster deployment of artificial intelligence applications.

The company will remain independent and majority-owned by Francisco Partners, an international investment firm specialising in technology investments.

Unified Digital Architecture for Concrete and Aggregates

Following an evaluation of the solutions available on the market, TITAN selected Command Alkon as the most comprehensive platform for these operations, with plans to gradually expand the use of its applications across the Group’s businesses.

The partnership aims to establish a unified digital architecture for ready-mixed concrete and aggregates, reducing operational complexity, facilitating data integration and accelerating the development of artificial intelligence applications.

TITAN is expected to contribute its operational expertise and experience in implementing digital solutions, while also supporting Command Alkon’s growth strategy. TITAN’s presence in the United States, with operations in Florida and the Mid-Atlantic states, as well as in Southeastern Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean, provides a foundation for extending the benefits of the partnership across multiple markets.

Artificial Intelligence and Cost Savings

The new investment builds on TITAN’s established industrial artificial intelligence capabilities, which the Group has been developing since 2017.

According to the company’s announcement, its artificial intelligence-powered real-time optimisation systems (RTOs) and predictive maintenance solutions now cover more than 90% of the Group’s cement production equipment. Each of these application categories generates annual benefits exceeding €10 million.

Under the “TITAN Forward 2029” strategy, digital technology also serves as a key enabler of the Group’s target of achieving €100 million in annual savings through initiatives focused on operational efficiency, carbon footprint reduction and digital transformation.

With the addition of Command Alkon, TITAN is extending the deployment of digital solutions to further stages of its value chain, aiming to improve productivity, resilience and competitiveness across its operations.

The Strategic Significance of the Partnership

“Accelerating digital transformation is a key pillar of our TITAN Forward 2029 strategy,” said Antonis Kyrkos, Director of Strategy and Digital Transformation at TITAN Group.

He noted that the investment strengthens the Group’s ability to advance the digital transformation of its construction materials operations, while enabling it to contribute actively to the development of new cloud-based and artificial intelligence solutions.

Kyrkos also emphasised that operational excellence increasingly depends on connected data, intelligent workflows and AI-driven decision-making. He expressed confidence that the partnership would strengthen TITAN’s position at the forefront of digital transformation in the construction materials industry.
