Greek state pays €9,2M in subsidy to 5.618 property owners

In particular, and according to the Ministry’s official press release, the following ammounts were credited to property onwers bank accounts:

• 4.423 property owners an amount totaling €2.1 million, with which the State covers up to 80% of the rent reduction for January 2021. Out of this amount, €1.1 million was chanelled to 4.308 individuals and €1 million to 115 legal entities.
• 4.402 property owners amounting to a total of €2.1 million, with which the State covers up to 80% of the rent reduction for February 2021. Of the above amount, €1.1 million was chanelled to 4.287 individuals and €1 million to 115 legal entities.
• 4.453 property owners an amount totaling €2.1 million, with which the State covers up to 80% of the rent reduction for March 2021. Of the above amount, €1.1 million was chanelled to 4.335 individuals and €1 million to 118 legal entities.
• 4.529 property owners amounting to a total of €2.1 million, with which the State covers up to 80% of the rent reduction for April 2021. Of the above amount, €1.1 million relate to 4.415 individuals and €1 million to 114 legal entities.
• 2.157 property owners an amount totaling approximately €761,100, with which the State covers up to 80% of the rent reduction for June 2021. Of the above amount, approximately 501.900 euros relate to 2.089 individuals and about €259.200 relate to 68 legal faces.

For the reduced rents for the period March 2020 – July 2021, offsets have been made with taxes and payments of a total amount of over €773.2 million.
