Intrakat halts undergounding works in Agia Sofia project

Intrakat, the construction firm that has undertaken the project, has applied to the General Administration of Infrastruction Works of the Periphery for a halt on the undergounding works on the site. 

As it was published by the directorate of technical works in Diavgeia “We accept the special statement of cessation of work of the company from 17/9/2021 with INTRAKAT contractor of the project:” Undergrounding of a section of Patriarchou Konstantinou Street and the accompanying works in the Municipality of N. Philadelphia – Chalkidona “, exclusively and only for the reason of delay of payment of the 11th account, beyond the two months from its submission, according to paragraph 9 of article 152 of law 4412/16”.

It is noted that the construction contract of the project is € 10.096.994,20 (including VAT) and has been signed between the N.P.D.D. Attica Region and the construction company INTRACAT.
