Municipality of Metamorfosi acquires the Koutsoumbeli Estate

The estate is located in the center of the city and houses two properties. The administrative authority after its acquisition aims to have the estate been refurbished into a cultural center by upgrading the wider area.

The municipal authority has been trying for almost two years but finally managed to achieve a significant reduction in the asset’s purchase price relative to the amount that was initially requested and exceeded €3.5 million. 

Meanwhile all the procedures provided for a monument were met. 

Now the purchase price was set at €2,745,000 (it will be repaid in four installments until 2024) and can proceed, after being voted in favor by the Municipal Council.
