The announcement will remain available for the submission of participations until June 1, 2021.
Through this project, the administration wants to re-establish Thessaloniki all over the world and to include it “in old and new maps – tourist, business, cultural, historical” and, at the same time, to upgrade public space.
The aim of the competition is, among other things, the quality and environmental upgrade of the Aristotelous axis – including the homonymous square, the pedestrian sections of the street and the rectangular widening of the axis at the junction with Egnatia street – revitalizing public space and boosting traffic.
