OSE launches recruitment for 33 key leadership positions

OSE announced 33 senior management openings.

H Hellenic Railways S.A. (OSE) has launched a call for six General Director positions and 27 Director positions, as part of implementing the new regulatory framework and the company’s organizational restructuring.

The initiative is part of the key reform measures of Law 5220/2025 for the new OSE and marks the transition to a modern governance model, emphasizing transparency, meritocracy, and accountability.

Areas of Responsibility
According to the company’s announcement, the positions cover critical areas, including:

  • Safety and interoperability
  • Railway network operations
  • Studies and infrastructure projects
  • Financial services
  • Strategy and development
  • Technology and digital strategy
  • Rolling stock
  • Human resources
  • Specialized operational and regulatory departments

The positions will be filled through a public call and an open evaluation process, including verification of formal and substantive qualifications and interviews.

Contracts will have a three-year duration, with the possibility of renewal for an equivalent term, linking each position to specific objectives and measurable outcomes.

Open to Candidates from Greece and Abroad
Through this announcement, OSE is issuing an open call to experienced professionals from Greece and abroad, aiming to strengthen its management structure with specialized expertise.

The goal is to build a strong leadership team that will support the modernization of the Greek railway system, full implementation of safety and interoperability systems, and execution of the company’s investment program.

Applications can be submitted exclusively via the electronic platform (apply.smartcv.co/ose/) starting Monday, 16 February 2026, at 11:00 a.m., within the deadline specified in the call.

Statement from Christos Palaios
OSE CEO Christos Palaios stated: “The new railway is built not only with projects and technology but, above all, with people.” He emphasized that staffing senior management positions is a crucial step toward enhancing the company’s operational capabilities.

He added that the administration is seeking executives with experience and managerial competence, capable of operating in a demanding environment, to accelerate projects, strengthen safety, and improve the reliability of the railway network.
