The application process begins today at www.aktor4thefuture.gr, while the evaluation will be completed in the coming period. Results will be announced in July, with the aim that scholarship recipients commence their studies in September 2026. Selection will be based on strict merit-based criteria, such as high academic performance and specialisation in critical fields.
The AKTOR Group Scholarship Programme will support young individuals pursuing postgraduate studies in Greece and abroad in fields such as Engineering, Technology & Artificial Intelligence, Energy & Environment, as well as Business, Finance, and Management, subsequently offering them a guaranteed employment position within the Group for at least five years, thereby strengthening the development of the next generation of scientists and professionals.
In 2026, the AKTOR4TheFuture programme will offer a total of 30 scholarships for postgraduate studies, of which 20 are for studies abroad (with scholarships of up to €50,000 each) and 10 for studies in Greece (with scholarships of up to €20,000 each).
On the occasion of the launch of the programme’s second cycle, the Chairman and CEO of the AKTOR Group, Alexandros Exarchou, stated: “For the second consecutive year, we are launching today the implementation of the AKTOR4theFuture scholarship programme, which is the largest of its kind in Greece and will help us enrich the talent pipeline of the Group that we are consistently building. When we presented the programme in 2025, we had committed to supporting young Greek scientists so that they bring back to our country the best knowledge available worldwide and build their future in Greece. That objective is now becoming a reality. At AKTOR Group, we systematically invest in our people and in the next generation of executives in the sectors in which we operate. We are proud not only to invest in the new generation and the leaders of tomorrow, but also to retain talent in Greece.”
The first cycle of AKTOR4TheFuture, which began in 2025, is gradually being completed, and already the first scholarship recipient, after completing their postgraduate studies, has started working at the Group, specifically in the IT Department, focusing on Artificial Intelligence.
