HPPC launches tender to attract investor for historic Xenia Vytina property

The Hellenic Public Properties Co. (HPPC) is launching a tender for the development of the “Xenia Vytina” property in Vytina, Arcadia, aiming for a long-term lease of the site for 40 years.

An extension of up to 10 additional years is possible.

The tender will be conducted as an e-auction via the platform www.e-publicrealestate.gr. The starting bid for the annual lease is €45,000. Each subsequent offer must exceed the previous highest bid by at least 5%. Interested participants are required to submit a participation guarantee of €45,000, valid for at least 90 days from the submission deadline.

The deadline for submitting application documents is Tuesday, 31 March 2026.

The “Xenia Vytina” property was constructed between 1963 and 1965 under the supervision of the Hellenic Tourism Organization (EOT), as part of efforts to develop tourism in the region. The architectural plans were designed by Kostas Bitsios. In 2008, the building was designated a historic monument by the Central Council for Modern Monuments, highlighting its architectural and historical significance.

The property covers a total area of 36,638 square meters, including the former hotel building with a total area of 1,315.93 m² and a basement of 61.65 m². The complex consists of a U-shaped main building and a two-story structure. It formerly operated as a hotel with 20 double rooms (40 beds). Currently, the property is vacant and not in operation.
