EKTER granted top-tier 7th class status in public works registry

Specifically, the company announced that, based on certification No. 116304/15.07.2026 issued by the Registry Directorate – Register of Public Works Contractors Department (M.I.E.E.D.E.) of the General Secretariat for Infrastructure of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, it has been awarded the 7th class classification, which represents the highest tier in the registry of public works contracting companies.

This upgrade strengthens EKTER’s position in the construction market, expanding its ability to participate in tenders for large-scale projects with substantial budgets and increased technical complexity, while further enhancing its competitiveness in the public infrastructure sector.

The development is particularly significant at a time when an extensive programme of public investment and infrastructure projects is underway, supported by both national and European funding sources, creating new business opportunities for major construction companies.
