A new strategic expansion agreement has been signed by CTP and Leroy Merlin, strengthening their cooperation through the development of a new regional distribution center in the Bucharest area.

The agreement concerns the expansion of the existing logistics hub at CTPark Bucharest West, which will reach a total area of 48,500 sq. m., confirming the facility’s role as one of the most significant supply chain hubs in Central and Eastern Europe.

According to the company’s announcement, the project is already under development, with completion scheduled for February 2027. The new facility is being designed according to Leroy Merlin’s operational and technical requirements, with an emphasis on flexible layout, rapid execution, and full alignment with the needs of its supply chain.

CTP, which manages one of the largest portfolios of industrial real estate in Europe, notes that the partnership further strengthens the park’s position as a key logistics hub, thanks to its strategic location, direct access to major road networks, and modern infrastructure.

On the side of Leroy Merlin, the expansion aims to optimize storage and distribution processes in order to support growing demand in the Romanian market and the wider region. As executives from both companies highlight, the agreement is part of a long-term strategy to enhance supply chain efficiency and further expand their presence in Southeast Europe.

This development confirms the continued rise in demand for modern logistics infrastructure in the greater Bucharest area, which is evolving into one of the most important distribution hubs in Central and Eastern Europe.
