Greek construction sector leads the turnover jump in the third quarter 2024

Concerning the enterprises and the activities of the economy as a whole, the turnover in the third quarter 2024 amounted to 128,246,250 thousand euro, recording an increase of 4.4% in comparison with the third quarter 2023, when the respective turnover was 122,801,383 thousand euro. 

The biggest increase in turnover in the third quarter 2024 compared with the third quarter 2023 was recorded from the enterprises of the section Mining and Quarrying, per 18.4%, while the smallest increase in turnover was recorded from the enterprises of the section Wholesale and Retail Trade; Repair of Motor Vehicles and Motorcycles, per 1.0%.
