Increased total Building Activity in January 2022

This figure corresponds to 336,154 sqm of surface and 1,363,698 cubic meters of volume, reflecting, respectively, a 4.3% increase in the number of building permits, a 23.6% increase in surface and a 22.7% increase in volume, compared with the corresponding month of 2021.

According to the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) final data release, for the month January 2022, building permits for the Private Building Activity issued in Greece in January 2022 amounted to 1,504. 

This figure corresponds to 330,507 sqm of surface and 1,336,268 cubic meters of volume. In comparison with the same month of 2021 there is a 4.0% increase in the number of building permits, a 24.4% increase in surface and a 23.6% increase in volume.
