More than 30% of the works in the new airport of Kastelli built by TERNA

In the Airport area, the earthworks and anti-flooding measures have been completed, along with paving works in the aircraft parking area. Paving works in the runway-taxiway areas are currently underway.

The following is an update on the progress of building works: The Police building and the water building’s supporting body are near completion. The Carrier Organization is making good progress with the Central Airport Building (Terminal) project – the basement level, ground floor, and arrivals corridor are complete. Special systems for the Central Station Building are under construction, and the departure bridge in the Airport building is also being built.

The work on buildings is progressing. The Police building and the supporting body of the water building are both almost complete.
