Regional authorities of Drama ink contract for the redevelopment of SOFTEX interchange in the city’s outskirts

The project has a budget of 900,000 euros, it was designed by the Regional Unit of Drama following a relevant decision of Mr. Metios, it was included for funding in the NSRP of the Region last March.

The new interchange that will be built will have a diameter of 50 meters, will be fully equipped and electrified and will significantly facilitate traffic as it will reduce the time it takes for vehicles to pass through the site and increase the level of road safety.

Present at the signing of the contract were the Deputy Regional Governor of Drama, Mr. Grigoris Papaemmanouil, the President of the Regional Council, Mr. Christos Papatheodorou, and the Authorized Regional Advisor for Monitoring the Implementation of Agricultural Economy Actions, Mr. Giorgos Zibidis.
