Southrock wins EDGE certification for its projects in Mykonos

According to the company’s announcement, this is the first time that corresponding projects in Greece have received this very important distinction.

EDGE is a green building certification system developed by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, as part of its mission to promote sustainable development in the construction sector. It aims to optimize energy efficiency and resource savings in buildings, through the reduction of energy and water consumption, as well as the use of recyclable materials.

Southrock’s projects in Mykonos are achieving outstanding results, with projected energy savings of 24% to 27%, water savings of 26% to 27%, and material carbon reduction of 75% to 76%.
