TMEDE: Konstantinos Makedos continues as President of new committee

TMEDE announced the composition of its new Administrative Committee, which serves as the Fund’s main governing body and a key institutional pillar representing the interests of engineers and the broader technical

Konstantinos Makedos remains in the position of President, while the term of the members of the new Administrative Committee is four years and commenced on April 1, 2026.

As noted in the announcement, maintaining a strong institutional relationship with the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) and reaffirming its pivotal role in the economy’s development trajectory, the new administration sets as a key priority the systematic strengthening of the Fund’s tools and services, with the aim of providing substantial support to engineers and technical companies.

Among the main pillars of the new term are the enhancement of TMEDE’s guarantee and financing role, the upgrade of digital services and tools offered to members, the development of modern financing solutions for projects and investments, as well as the further documentation and support of the technical community in an ever-changing economic and institutional environment.

According to the Fund, through targeted interventions and the expansion of its capabilities, TMEDE is strengthening its position as a critical financial and institutional partner in the Greek market, actively contributing to project implementation, the mobilization of investments, and the overall growth momentum of the economy.

On the occasion of the appointment of the new Administrative Committee, TMEDE President Konstantinos Makedos stated that, at a time when geopolitical developments are shaping a new and demanding environment, the technical community is called upon to play a leading role.

He noted that the Fund continues to offer competitive guarantee and lending solutions that enhance the sector’s technical capacity and facilitate access to financing, through strategic partnerships and with a focus on safeguarding the interests of the technical community and supporting national economic growth.

At the same time, he emphasized that through modern control procedures and strict evaluation standards, TMEDE is strengthening its transparency, quality, and reliability, with the aim of protecting the public interest and ensuring the safety of infrastructure and construction.
