Who are claiming the two major road projects in Thessaloniki and Kalamata

The project’s budget reaches € 373 million and refers to the construction of an Elevated Express Highway (the so-called Flyover), approximately 13.5 km long, four of which on a continuous bridge, with four lanes, two plus lane of emergency (LEA), per direction.

The companies below have submitted binding offers in the competition:

• ASSOCIATION OF PERSONS AVAX SA – MYTILINEOS SA
• AKTOR CONCESSIONS SA
• GEK TERNA SA REAL ESTATE HOLDINGS SA

On the same day (Thursday, December 30), the final binding offers were submitted by two candidates in the PPP tender for “Kalamata – Rizomylos – Pylos – Methoni”

The project comprises the improvement and upgrading of about 20 km of existing roads, the construction of a new highway at a length of about 30 km, the improvement of 14 km of vertical road network, the construction of a new 41.4 km side road network, the construction of 12 bridges and many accompanying technical projects (level nodes, hydraulic projects, retaining walls, etc.). The project is expected to have a temporary contractor at the beginning of the year and its construction will begin in 2022.

Τα δύο έργα αναμένεται να έχουν προσωρινό ανάδοχο αρχές του έτους και να ξεκινήσει η κατασκευή τους εντός του 2022.
