The open electronic auction (e-auction) for the redevelopment and utilization of the historic Xenia Vytina in Arcadia has been successfully completed.

The final bidder in the leasing tender, conducted through the electronic platform www.e-publicrealestate.gr, has been declared the company “OTUS I.K.E.” (affiliated with the Batagianni family), which submitted the highest offer of €121,003.63.

The redevelopment of the Xenia Vytina provides for the long-term lease of the property for 40 years, with the option of a further 10-year extension. The site covers an area of 36,638 sq.m., within which lies a non-operational hotel building of 1,315.93 sq.m., plus a basement of 61.65 sq.m., with a capacity of 20 double rooms.

The Xenia Vytina was constructed in 1961 based on designs by architect Kostas Bitsios and was designated a protected monument in 2008 by the Central Council of Modern Monuments.

The utilization of historic Xenia properties included in the portfolio of the Hellenic Public Properties Company (ETAD) forms a key pillar of its strategy to activate and highlight assets of significant cultural and development value, while maintaining a focus on local communities. Through the revival of emblematic properties for modern use, ETAD aims to contribute to the development of high-quality destinations, attract investment, and strengthen local economic activity.
