Intracom Defense’s order backlog stands at €294.4M

Significant improvement in its financial performance for fiscal year 2025 was announced by Intracom Defense (IDE), with the company recording increases in sales, profitability, and research and development investments, while its backlog of contracts reached a record level, approaching €300 million.

According to the financial results announced by the company for the year ended 31 December 2025, sales amounted to €77.3 million, compared with €52.6 million in 2024, representing an increase of approximately 47%.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose to €7.4 million, up 96% compared with €3.8 million in the previous year. Earnings before tax (EBT) reached €4.3 million, up from €1.8 million in 2024, an increase of 144%, while net profit after tax stood at €3.1 million, compared with €1.2 million in the previous year, marking an increase of 149%.

Gross profit increased to €25.2 million from €19.2 million in 2024, while research and development (R&D) expenditure rose by 26%, reaching €14 million compared with €11.1 million a year earlier.

As of 31 December 2025, the company’s backlog of contracts stood at €294.4 million, while the backlog of approved R&D projects amounted to €22.3 million.

At the same time, cash and cash equivalents totalled €26.1 million, compared with €11.1 million at the end of 2024.

The company also announced that during 2025 it secured new contracts worth a total of €186.9 million. As noted, its growth trajectory was supported by strengthened international partnerships and export programmes, expanded participation in NATO and European Union defence projects, as well as increased demand for advanced defence and communications systems.

An increase was also recorded in headcount, with the number of employees rising to 562, compared with 471 in 2024.

In a statement, Chief Executive Officer Georgios Troullinos said that the 2025 results confirm the implementation of the company’s strategic plan and its strong international positioning, emphasising that the company remains focused on technological innovation and further strengthening its presence in the global defence industry.
