AADE issues revised tax bills with 50% discount and €806,587 in tax relief

  • RE+D Magazine

The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) has issued revised 2026 ENFIA property tax assessments, applying a 50% reduction for main residences in small settlements in cases where the discount was not granted during the initial tax assessment.

The revised assessments cover 15,304 property ownership rights, with total tax relief amounting to €806,587.66. Tax offsets and refunds for eligible taxpayers are already under way.

According to an announcement by the Ministry of National Economy and Finance and AADE, the revised tax bills were issued for taxpayers who corrected their property’s electricity supply number in their E9 property declaration after the central ENFIA assessment, as well as for those whose main residence had not been fully identified during the initial assessment.

Specifically, the process covers 15,689 ownership rights relating to the main residences of 15,304 individuals in settlements with populations of up to:

  • 1,500 residents throughout Greece, including the Islands Regional Unit of the Attica Region but excluding other settlements in Attica.
  • 1,700 residents in Western Macedonia, the Evros Regional Unit and border municipalities in the regions of Central Macedonia, Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, and Epirus.

The total reduction in property tax amounts to €806,587.66.
