The agreement forms part of the company’s 2026–2030 Strategic Development Plan and is included in a broader investment programme aimed at upgrading its infrastructure, services and overall shopping experience.
Through its partnership with Goldair Cargo, Attica Department Stores aims to respond more effectively to the growing activity of the attica e-shop, improving the speed and reliability of customer service at every stage of the online ordering process.
Demosthenis Boumis, CEO of Attica Department Stores, emphasised that the further development of the attica e-shop is an integral part of the company’s strategy. He noted that the partnership with Goldair Cargo would enable more efficient management of the online store’s growing operations, delivering faster and more reliable service, as well as a consistent, high-quality attica shopping experience across all sales channels and customer service touchpoints.
Growth of the attica e-shop
The agreement follows the strong growth trajectory recorded by the company’s online store. The attica e-shop currently offers more than 65,000 product lines, further expanding the retail chain’s online presence.
More specifically, during the first half of 2026, the e-shop recorded a 23% increase in sales compared with the corresponding period, while website traffic rose by 22%.
These figures highlight the importance of upgrading supply chain operations and online order management as the company seeks to support the continued expansion of its e-commerce channel under its five-year development strategy.
