Extended flood protection project is being deployed in Glyfada

The flood protection project that was in demand for decades for Ano Glyfada is now taking shape.

Egyptou Street and the whole surrounding area, which has suffered so much for decades from rain and rain, will no longer face the problems of the past.

It is noted that the project will continue on Archipelagos Street, which is parallel to Egyptou Street and are two main arteries in the direction of the northern part of Ano Glyfada.

As the Mayor of Glyfada, George Papanikolaou, characteristically states: “We are moving forward with the pipelines in the Archipelago and in the vertical roads in the wider area. As soon as the individual works are finished – and after the natural gas pipelines are completed – our Municipality will take care of the complete restoration of the road and to beautify every neighborhood as a whole.
