GEK TERNA reports higher traffic on Attiki Odos and Egnatia Odos in H1 2026

Traffic on the main motorways operated by the GEK TERNA Group increased during the first half of 2026, with Attiki Odos and Egnatia Odos recording higher average daily traffic, while Kentriki Odos also posted positive growth.

Traffic on the main motorways operated by the GEK TERNA Group increased during the first half of 2026, with Attiki Odos and Egnatia Odos recording higher average daily traffic, while Kentriki Odos also posted positive growth.

More specifically, average daily traffic on Attiki Odos increased by 2.4% year-on-year, with the average daily number of vehicle passages (ADT) reaching approximately 290,775 vehicles.

On Egnatia Odos, average daily traffic rose by 2.9% compared with the first half of 2025, with average daily vehicle passages reaching approximately 219,458 vehicles.

By contrast, Nea Odos recorded a marginal decline in average daily traffic of 2.1%, with ADT standing at 117,869 vehicles.

On Kentriki Odos, average daily traffic increased by 3.5%, reaching 43,695 vehicle passages per day.

Traffic conditions on the motorways of Egnatia Odos, Nea Odos, and Kentriki Odos were affected during January by agricultural protests, which have since concluded.

At the same time, traffic on Egnatia Odos continues to be affected by motorway rehabilitation works carried out as part of the concession agreement.
