A new chapter in the history of one of Patras’ most iconic hotels begins with the reopening of MERCURE PATRAS ASTIR, following the completion of an extensive renovation that commenced in 2024 and was supported by an investment exceeding €10 million.
The hotel, owned by Alexandros Vassilikos’ Vassilicos House of Hospitality, now operates under the international Mercure brand of the Accor Group, with management and quality standards provided by Vassilicos House of Hospitality.
The property features 116 rooms and suites, conference facilities spanning more than 700 square metres, a rooftop garden with a swimming pool, a restaurant, a bar, a fitness centre and parking facilities. Through the upgrading of its infrastructure and services, the hotel aims to establish itself as a benchmark for high-quality hospitality in Patras, while also serving as a hub for the city’s social, cultural and business life.
