Visitors in Greek museums and archaeological sites skyrocket in July 2022

According to ELSTAT’s official press release, during July 2022 -vs the corresponding month of 2021- museums recorded a 70.4% increase in the number of visitors and a 50.4% increase in the number of free admission visitors, as well as an 80.2% increase in their receipts.

In archaeological sites, in July 2022 compared with the corresponding month of 2021, an increase of 54.4% was recorded at the number of visitors, of 31.9% in the number of free admission visitors and of 70.7% in the corresponding receipts.
