The contract was signed between METKA S.A. and North Star Entertainment S.A., while a blessing ceremony was also held at the project site. Among those in attendance were METKA’s Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dinos Benroubi, North Star Entertainment’s Chief Executive Officer, Giannis Tsirikos, the company’s principal shareholders, Thanasis Laskaridis and Konstantinos Kokkalis, as well as the Chief Executive Officer of ETAD, Iro Chatzigeorgiou.
It is noted that METKA had already undertaken and completed the preliminary works of the project, confirming, as highlighted, its readiness and technical capability to ensure the smooth progress of construction.
The project concerns the development of an integrated complex with a total investment of approximately €380 million. It will include a five-star hotel with a capacity of 300 beds, the relocation of the Mont Parnes Casino, two underground parking facilities, a multipurpose hall and conference spaces, wellness and spa facilities, swimming pools, restaurants, and extensive landscaping works.
The total built area will reach 77,000 sq.m., including underground spaces and technical installations, while the plot covers an area of 25,000 sq.m.
At the same time, the project includes significant traffic interventions to address long-standing congestion issues at the junction of Kifisias Avenue and Spyrou Loui Avenue, as well as the creation of green spaces and public-use areas totaling 25,000 sq.m., which will be transferred to the Municipality of Marousi.
The construction period has been set at 24 months.
METKA has extensive experience in delivering complex, high-specification projects in the tourism and residential sectors. Among the projects it has completed are Asteria Glyfadas and Olympus Naoussa Hotel, while in the near future it is expected to deliver the IKOS KISSAMOS project in Kissamos, Chania—a five-star hotel complex with a capacity of 1,280 beds—into full operation.
