The Ministry of National Economy and Finance has launched a public consultation on the draft bill titled "Tax Reform for Demographics and the Middle Class – Support Measures for Society and the Economy", which includes significant provisions regarding real estate taxation. These include the gradual abolition of ENFIA for primary residences in small settlements, the introduction of a new intermediate tax rate for rental income, the reduction of imputed living expenses (“tekmiria”) for housing, and incentives for long-term leasing.
