Greek seasonally adjusted unemployment rate a 13,3% in November 2021

The Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) announced the seasonally adjusted estimates of employment and unemployment for November 2021.

The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in November 2021 amounted to 13.3% compared to the downwards revised 16.1% in November 2020 and to the upwards revised 13.4% in October 2021.

The number of employed persons amounted to 4,087,369 persons increasing by 208,940 persons as compared with November 2020 (+5.4%) and by 54,950 persons compared with October 2021 (+1.4%).

The number of unemployed persons amounted to 624,858 decreasing by 121,560 persons as compared with November 2020 (-16.3%) and increasing by 3,551 persons compared with October 2021 (+0.6%).

The number of persons outside the labour force, i.e., persons that neither work nor look for a job, amounted to 3,138,257, decreasing by 118,626 persons as compared with November 2020 (-3.6%) and by 61,076 persons compared with October 2021.
