The Argentinian entrepreneur has allegedly been invited by the Greek government at a time to invest in Greek real estate properties.
He has acquired a portfolio which comprised four buildings in Attika, one in Vassilisis Sofias Av. and three others in Nea Kifissia, Marousi and Argyroupolis respectively.
All of them have been fully let to well established tenants a fact that resulted in double digit returns for Mindlin.
Today the entrepreneur is interested to exit his positions by putting up for sale the portfolio.
Mindlin was able to invest in Greek properties -at a relative bargain- at a time when the country has been experiencing its crisis pick and was engaged in MoU agreements with its creditors.
Mindlin invested a little less than €20million for both a 5.500sqm office building let to BNP Paribas (€10,3milion) and Pantechniki's office headquarters (Yiokaris family) that the Greek construction company Ellaktor has sold in 2014 in an effort to improve its liquidity.
From that period on wards the Argentinian group has established and kept close relations with Greek entrepreneurs and politicians.
Nowadays, the group is liquidating its portfolio having already received interest from two real estate companies as prospective buyers. According to RED Magazine's sources familiar with the matter the group has no interest to maintain any stake in local REITs.
