The Directorate of Technical Works of the Region of Central Macedonia informs the drivers that the works will be done in the current from Thessaloniki to Athens.
In this phase, the traffic of vehicles in the flow from Athens to Thessaloniki will be carried out normally from the free traffic lanes of the same current, while the traffic of vehicles from Thessaloniki to Athens will be diverted through the temporarily shaped - asphalted road section of the island.
Also, the movement of vehicles to and from the branches of the junction that are the entrance and exit for the ring road and the Central Market will be carried out normally from the right lanes. The maximum speed limit on the PATHE Motorway is gradually reduced to 60 km per hour, along the work zone.
As it became known, the parts of the project that will be completed will be gradually attributed to the traffic. The final diversion of traffic from Thessaloniki to Athens, through the temporarily designed - asphalted road section of the islet, is scheduled for Saturday, January 22.
