The estate is located in the center of the city and houses
two properties. The administrative authority after its acquisition aims to have
the estate been refurbished into a cultural center by upgrading the wider area.
The municipal authority has been trying for almost two years but finally managed to achieve a significant reduction in the asset’s purchase price relative to the amount that was initially requested and exceeded €3.5 million.
Meanwhile all the procedures provided for a monument were met.
Now the purchase
price was set at €2,745,000 (it will be repaid in four installments until 2024)
and can proceed, after being voted in favor by the Municipal Council.
