Prospects of an international tourism training center in Greece

Greek government is in talks with Accor for the creation of an international tourism training center in Greece in the context of planning for the development of skills and the upgrading of services in the tourism sector.

The issue was discussed during the recent meeting of the Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis with the CEO of the group Sebastian Bazen who attended in Athens to attend the inauguration of the Athens Capital Hotel-MGallery Collection of the first MGallery Collection hotel in Greece.

The French multinational hotel group already has in our country a portfolio of seven hotel units while it has launched four more, three of which have been designated as Strategies.

The Athens Capital Hotel - MGallery Collection (Lampsa), the Novotel Athenes, the Sofitel Athens Airport (Mitsis Group) and the ibis Styles Athens Routes operate under the Accor brands in Athens, while the Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa by Banyan operate in the region. Tree (York Capital- V. Kertsikov) in Corfu, Mercure Rhodes Alexia (N. Soulounia group) in Rhodes and Ibis Styles Heraklion Central in Crete.
