The Athenaeum Eridanus Luxury Hotel, located in Gazi, one
of Athenian most vibrant neighborhoods was put up for sale.
The hotel,
was closed in 2012 and in 2019 reopened as the "Athenaeum Eridanus
Luxury Hotel" in the 4-star category. The original part of the hotel was
built in the early 20th century, while the property was refurbished in 2003.
This is the
property located on 78 Piraeus Street and Salaminos, with a capacity of 39
rooms with 81 beds, which consists of a five-storey listed building on Piraeus
Street and a three-storey building of conventional construction on Salamina
Street.
The hotel
was initially put up for sale by Probank Leasing before 4 years with a minimum
price again at €6.3 million. However, no potential buyers had expressed any
interest on the asset and as a result the property was leased at c.€ 37,000 per
month.
