The project is incorporated within the Peloponnese Operational Program 2021–2027, ensuring both its institutional endorsement and financial sustainability.
Through the re-exhibition initiative, the Historical and Folklore Museum of Corinth will be equipped with state-of-the-art display cases, advanced presentation technology, specialized lighting systems, interactive applications, and upgraded museological curation. These enhancements are designed to offer visitors a dynamic and immersive experience, while simultaneously reinforcing the museum’s educational, cultural, and tourism significance.
It is important to highlight that this initiative builds upon the recently completed structural and electromechanical modernization of the museum, which was executed with a total budget of €1,270,000. Additionally, the procurement of exhibition equipment has been incorporated into the 2021–2027 Operational Program and has recently received approval from the Regional Committee.
