A 2.5% increase in retail turnover was recorded in January

The General Turnover Index in the retail sector for January 2025, compared to the corresponding index of January 2024, showed an increase of 2.5%, and compared to the corresponding index of December 2024, it decreased by 18.4%.

The Overall Turnover Index in Retail Trade in January 2025 increased by 2.5%, compared with the corresponding index of January 2024, while compared with the corresponding index of December 2024 decreased by 18.4%.

The Overall Volume Index in Retail Trade (i.e. turnover in retail trade at constant prices) in January 2025, increased by 1.9%, compared with the corresponding index of January 2024, while, compared with the corresponding index of December 2024, decreased by 16.8%.

The seasonally adjusted Overall Turnover Index in January 2025, compared with the corresponding index of December 2024, increased by 1.2%.

The seasonally adjusted Overall Volume Index in January 2025, compared with the corresponding index of December 2024, increased by 0.6%.
