For the enterprises in Accommodation Activities (division 55 of NACE Rev.2 classification), obliged to double-entry bookkeeping, for which data are available on a monthly basis, the turnover in October 2024 amounted to 908,300,237 euro, recording an increase of 17.7% in comparison with October 2023, when the respective turnover was 771,809,950 euro.
For the enterprises in Food and Beverage Service Activities (division 56 of NACE Rev.2 classification), obliged to double-entry bookkeeping, for which data are available on a monthly basis, the turnover in October 2024 amounted to 238,316,228 euro, recording an increase of 5.1% in comparison with October 2023, when the respective turnover was 226,686,750 euro.
In total, for the enterprises in the Accommodation and Food and Beverage Service Activities (divisions 55 and 56 of NACE Rev. 2 classification), obliged to double-entry bookkeeping, for which data are available on a monthly basis, the turnover in October 2024 amounted to 1,146,616,465 euro, recording an increase of 14.8% in comparison with October 2023, when the respective turnover was 998,496,700 euro.
For the Regional Units with a contribution to the total turnover of the year 2023 greater than 1.0% (Table 1), the biggest increase in the turnover of October 2024 compared with October 2023 was recorded in the Regional Unit Kerkyra (51.7%) and the smallest increase (8.4%) was recorded in the Region Attiki.
