The €500 million Tier II bond issuance by Alpha Bank attracted strong investor interest, with the yield settling at 4.308%, marking the lowest recorded credit spread for a subordinated Tier II issuance by a Greek bank.

The bonds feature an 11-year maturity with an early redemption option at 6 years (11NC6). This issuance aligns with Alpha Bank’s strategic initiative to reinforce its capital base and sustain robust regulatory capital ratios, fully consistent with the targets outlined in its Strategic Plan.

The transaction garnered significant interest from a broad spectrum of international investors, who comprised 75% of the order book. Demand was predominantly driven by investors from the United Kingdom (26%) and France (12%). Notably, more than 89% of the bonds were allocated to long-term institutional investors, including asset managers, banks, and insurance companies, underscoring strong confidence in the bank’s credit profile and strategic direction.
