AVAX Group invests in electric cars fleet for the first phase of the Ellinikon development project
As part of the implementation of the Phase 1 infrastructure projects at The Ellinikon, AVAX Group proceeded with the supply of a fleet of electric cars to be used by the Lamda Development project supervision team.
Unlike cars with internal combustion engine, the fleet acquired by the AVAX Group ensures zero emission of gaseous pollutants, while energy recovery from braking and fewer mechanical parts of electric vehicles significantly reduce not only consumption, but also costs use and maintenance.
In addition, thanks to their performance that makes driving extremely easy and relaxing - a factor particularly important for construction site use - they are almost silent, a feature essential to the overall reduction of noise pollution levels. It is recalled that the AVAX Group has undertaken and is currently implementing the Phase 1 infrastructure projects at The Ellinikon, the largest urban regeneration investment in Europe.
The projects, among others, refer the construction of an extensive road network, the undergrounding of Poseidon Avenue and the creation of an uneven junction, as well as the construction of pedestrian walkways, cycle paths, public utility networks to serve all the planned buildings.
These include the buildings of the residential and commercial developments, the sports complex, the Metropolitan Park, as well as the other developments of Phase I of the project. For the execution of the Project, 700 new jobs are expected to be created.
