AVAX has been awarded a major new project, further cementing its reputation for expertise in complex building infrastructure. The company will undertake the construction of Sklavenitis Group’s new ready-made meal production and distribution facility in the Patima area of Magoula, Attica. The project, with a total budget of €35 million, was commissioned by “Avra S.A.”, a subsidiary of the Sklavenitis Group.
The facility will feature a 16,000-square-meter ground floor and an 8,000-square-meter first floor, housing food preparation areas, cold storage units, and office spaces. The contract also includes the development of the surrounding site, covering an additional 25,000 square meters.
Initial phases will involve the construction of all essential electromechanical infrastructure—including utility networks, fiber optic lines, and wastewater systems. The project also includes a 400-cubic-meter reinforced concrete underground potable water tank and two biological wastewater treatment tanks. Subsequently, a 200-square-meter boiler room will be built, along with a steel canopy over the parking areas.
This high-profile project reflects AVAX’s technical competence, long-standing experience, and proven reliability in delivering complex, large-scale building works. It also highlights the company’s strong operational capacity and its continued role as a trusted partner in strategic infrastructure development.
