Bank of Greece: Greek central government cash balance records a deficit of €239M in January

In January 2024, the central government cash balance recorded a deficit of €239 million, compared to a surplus of €1,077 million in the same month of 2023.

According to the Bank of Greece, during this month, ordinary budget revenue amounted to €5,091 million, compared to €4,708 million in the corresponding month of last year.

Ordinary budget expenditure amounted to €4,799 million, from €5,152 million in January 2023.
