According to the Bank of Greece (BoG), the Credit Registry (ΚΜΠ) collects and stores on a monthly basis detailed information on all types of credit equal to or exceeding €5,000 (per creditor and per debtor for legal entities) and €2,000 (per creditor and per debtor for individuals and sole proprietorships).
The types of credit reported include, without limitation, mortgage loans, consumer loans, business loans, finance leases (leasing), and factoring agreements, along with the corresponding collateral provided. The system ensures data confidentiality while offering modern digital information services.
The Credit Registry provides access to its data for both debtors and creditors through the issuance of Credit Reports, which are made available following the submission of an electronic application.
-
