Specifically, the company, through the €3.65 billion Nordic Strategies Fund V, has secured planning permission for a 140-unit Build-to-Rent (BTR) development in Pankow, one of the most sought-after residential areas of the German capital.
The project represents a strategic bet on Germany’s undersupplied rental market, where demand consistently exceeds supply. Nrep, the real estate arm of Urban Partners, will deliver 9,000 sq.m. of net living space across four buildings on a 6,000 sq.m. plot.
The apartments, primarily two- and three-bedroom units, are targeted at young families — a demographic particularly affected by the housing crisis in Berlin. Construction is set to begin in early 2026, with KondorWessels Berlin handling delivery and bdp real estate acting as the client representative.
Project completion is scheduled for late 2027.
