For the enterprises and the activities of the economy as a whole, the turnover in 2024 amounted to 472,721,973 thousand euro, recording an increase of 4.1% in comparison with 2023, when the respective turnover was 454,241,462 thousand euro.
The biggest increase in turnover in 2024 compared with 2023 was recorded from the enterprises of the section Construction, per 15.8% and of the section Administrative and Support Service Activities, per 14.0%, while a decrease was recorded from the enterprises of the section Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply, per 9.2%.
For the enterprises and the activities of the economy as a whole, the turnover in the fourth quarter 2024 amounted to 124,282,911 thousand euro, recording an increase of 4.2% in comparison with the fourth quarter 2023, when the respective turnover was 119,267,345 thousand euro. The biggest increase in turnover in the fourth quarter 2024 compared with the fourth quarter 2023 was recorded from the enterprises of the section Real Estate Activities, per 18.2%, while a decrease was recorded from the enterprises of the section Manufacturing, per 1.1%.
For the enterprises of the economy as a whole, obliged to double-entry accounting bookkeeping, for which data are available on a monthly basis, the turnover in December 2024 amounted to 36,741,403 thousand euro, recording an increase of 8.1% in comparison with December 2023, when the respective turnover was 33,979,345 thousand euro. The biggest increase in turnover in December 2024 compared with December 2023 was recorded from the enterprises of the section Construction, per 17.4%, while the smallest increase was recorded from the enterprises of the section Arts, Entertainment and Recreation, per 0.1%.
