Business bankruptcies across all economic sectors in Q1 2025 amounted to 71, showing an increase of 14.5% compared to Q1 2024, when bankruptcies stood at 62.
For the economic activity sectors with the greatest contribution to total turnover, according to data from the 2022 Statistical Business Register, an increase in the number of new business registrations in Q1 2025 compared to Q1 2024 was recorded in the sectors of "Transportation and Storage" (15.7%) and "Electricity, Gas, Steam, and Air Conditioning Supply" (2.7%), while the largest decrease was observed in the sectors of "Construction" (25.2%) and "Manufacturing" (18.4%).
