The ceremony took place at a central London hotel, bringing together leading real estate development companies, architects, and designers from around the world, in an evening dedicated to innovation, quality, and excellence in real estate. The International Property Awards, established in 1993, have become the most recognized global institution for rewarding excellence in architecture, property development, and design. From its modest beginnings with ten categories, the awards have evolved into a benchmark for industry leaders.
Piraeus Gate, being developed at the entrance of the country’s largest port, is an iconic mixed-use project combining residential, commercial, and office spaces, along with high-end hospitality services. It represents an urban redevelopment of a former industrial area showing clear signs of abandonment, with a total built-up area of 105,000 sq.m. on a private plot of 15,000 sq.m.
The project includes 630 new residential units, 268 serviced apartments, 500 workstations, as well as 5,000 sq.m. of commercial space and 5,000 sq.m. of green areas, aiming for LEED Neighborhood certification. With contemporary design and an emphasis on sustainability, Piraeus Gate is expected to transform the urban landscape of Piraeus, establishing it as a reference point for a new era of urban development in Greece.
