SWOT Hospitality enhances its portfolio in Greece’s luxury hospitality sector with the boutique wellness destination Eliamos Villas Hotel & Spa, located on Kefalonia’s southern shores.

As stated by the company in a related announcement, the ultra-luxury resort, a member of Relais & Châteaux and recognized by the 2025 Michelin Guide and Forbes Travel Guide, comprises 11 private villas featuring plunge pools and unobstructed views of the Ionian Sea. The design harmoniously blends Mediterranean lines with elements that naturally integrate into the surrounding environment, offering guests complete tranquility and privacy.

The hotel’s philosophy—as expressed by shareholders Spyros Korsanos, Charitou Mikromatis, and Maike Gruna—places emphasis on deep relaxation, connection with nature, and the intimacy of a “home away from home,” which is reflected in a high rate of returning guests.

Wellness offerings at the resort include a private spa with treatments based on organic, locally sourced products, an outdoor gym, as well as personalized and group Pilates sessions. At the Olais restaurant, head chef Sokratis Maliganis delivers contemporary Greek cuisine that highlights local Kefalonian produce and fresh herbs from the hotel’s gardens.

Eliamos’ location, approximately 20 minutes from Argostoli, provides direct access to some of the island’s most authentic destinations, which are renowned for their geological heritage, UNESCO Global Geopark status, and wine tradition—most notably the Robola grape variety. The resort’s connection to the local area is further strengthened by the family history of Spyros Korsanos, whose grandfather was among the founders of Kefalonia’s first Robola producers’ cooperative. Additionally, the hotel actively supports initiatives for the protection of marine life and the caretta-caretta species.

Giorgos Konstantinidis, founder of SWOT Hospitality, stated that the collaboration “represents the company’s philosophy of contemporary, authentic hospitality, centered on wellness and a strong connection to the local environment.” Spyros Korsanos added that this new development “opens a new chapter of luxury for the resort and Kefalonia,” with the aim of further enhancing guest experiences.

SWOT Hospitality continues to strengthen its presence in Southeastern Europe, maintaining partnerships with international brands such as Hilton, Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Accor, and Nikki Beach Hotels & Resorts, while holding certifications from organizations including InterContinental Hotels & Resorts and Leading Hotels of the World.
